THRESHOLD

I was a toad sitting at the bottom of a parched abyss.
I was relatively benighted,u know, the sole cognizance of "the WORLD" had been vaguely perceived through flighty whisperings from the bulb-like aperture hovering a hundred feet above the empty subterranean where I dwelled.
But one day, it rained really hard. It just wouldn't stop. Amid jarring resonance of a thousand coughing soprano singers and cannonball explosions, I was flushed upwards, tossed real high ...up into "the WORLD" - the 21-st century planet earth mobilized by the glorious advent of World Wide Web, home to bipeds who live by connections......
At last, I have a blog! And a lousy first entree (all the lame yabberings above) that comes along with it.
